Jackie came to the rescue when I was at the end of my tether, juggling full time employment and worrying about how Mum, in her late 80s, was coping at home after various falls and just not managing her everyday tasks so well. Mum was adamant that she wanted to stay at home. After chats with Jackie, we decided to try a period of respite care, still in her own home, with Jackie in charge, to allow us to get away on holiday.
Jackie managed to win over Mum’s trust, reassuring her that all her concerns, however trivial they may appear to be, would be addressed - as indeed they were. Jackie’s calm, practical approach allowed Mum to relax as anxieties were, one by one, removed. Consequently, we too enjoyed our much-needed break, comfortable in the knowledge that Mum was safe, at home, in good hands. Thank you Jackie.

Jackie provided care and support for my partner who had dementia. I cannot praise Jackie’s skills, knowledge and caring approach highly enough. She showed the greatest sensitivity and respect which gave my partner and myself confidence in her care. She communicated very effectively with him and quickly identified activities and interests which he could engage in. He greatly enjoyed the time he spent with Jackie. I would highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for care for someone with dementia.
